Engaging next generation talent

Erik, an early career leader, joined a Pepal programme to enhance his exposure at a global level, and as an opportunity to live his values in the organisation. Passionate about healthcare access, Erik worked with senior colleagues and health sector colleagues in India, leading not only to sustainable innovations, but also enhancing Erik's ability to and passion for driving social impact within his role

Leveraging Digital Innovation

During the Covid-19 Pandemic, Leo joined a Pepal programme , collaborating with Ugandan NGO staff to develop online training modules for frontline healthcare providers on evaluation, leadership and digital literacy. Working remotely to develop innovative digital support enabled Leo’s sense of purpose through a challenging time, as well as provided an opportunity to engage with other colleagues and external stakeholders in the healthcare ecosystem.

Aligning values & purpose

Aurelie, an HIV scientist in a global pharma company, travelled to Uganda to understand the barriers to HIV care for adolescents. Working alongside healthcare colleagues gave Aurelie an enhanced understanding of how she and her company can drive HIV progress, as well supported Aurelie to live her purpose of driving access to HIV care in the Global South.
