Rapid, resource limited innovation

Markus and his colleagues identified that resource management was a key barrier in cervical cancer treatment in rural Tanzania, and innovated a rotational solution that saw the same treatment resources be utilised more efficiently. Their solution expanded cervical cancer treatment to women across 5 districts, and encouraged district officials to expand the solution across the region

Ecosystem Understanding

Beatriz, a senior scientist, worked with frontline health workers to innovate solutions to reduce wait times in Uganda. Working with senior doctors and NGO staff, she put her leadership skills to the test to support and guide her colleagues forward, using her external perspectives and ability to lead beyond specific expertise and formal authority.

Cross-Cultural Leadership

Carlos, a senior business manager, travelled to India, where he was paired with small scale farmers and NGO staff working in nutrition. Quickly, Bruno developed his ability to support a team with different cultural dynamics, finding ways to bring everyone together towards a common goal
